Landscape painted with encaustic & oil on panel. Painted in a pasture near Slater, MO. The beans in the field behind the trees were in drying stage when they turn bright yellow oarange for a week or so, before beginning their gradual fade to a pale grey cream. The afternoon clouds were just begining to frey at the edges.
